Post 2

I just finished Larry Bird watching i can honestly say it was the best book I've ever read. I have nothing else to say about this book so im gonna talk about the next book im gonna read. I think im gonna read another biography on another NBA legend his name is Oscar Robinson "Big O". As soon as i start reading it I will post about it. hoped you liked my posts on Larry Bird Watching.

Book Recommendation

I recommend Larry Bird is flying because you learn a lot about him and the game of basketball. I loved to listen to what he said because he knows basketball. Since hes a NBA legend. I also likked it because i play basketball and I can connect to it. Honestly I recommend any sports novel because in those novels the events that happen can happen in real life. Another reason i would read a sports book is because if you read a Biography on a great player you can learn a lot abou the game and learn more about the individual. Another reason I recommend sports novels is because you can connect to them and its fun to connect to what your reading.

If you are interested in learning more about Larry Bird and baksetball in general. Watch this video or read Larry Bird Watching it will tell you a lot about him. I think this video shows a lot about him and his personality towards the game. This is a video when he is getting inducted into the basketball hall of fame. Hope you like it.

I am very close to being done with my book Larry Bird Watching. I love it because I can really connect to it. Larry Bird is very preserved in other words I think he is very humble in his playing style I really like that about him. Unlike some players out there are cocky and arent half as good as Larry Bird. He talks a little bit about trash talk in the NBA and how he got his mind off of that in the game and dominated his opponent. It can really help even a baksetball player now because no a days there is more and more trash talking going on everywhere.

Tone and Mood

I dont think Larry Bird Watching has one particular tone it has various amounts of different tones. I think the biggest one would be a direct tone of voice because he talks a lot about himself and what he says and does so this is why I would pick this tone over others. The mood of this novel is realy up to you because if your interested in finding out about Larry Bird maybe you have a curious mood so overall its up to you to set the mood. An example of this novels tone is "When I took the head coaching job with the Pacers, everyone kept saying how excited I must be, because I was coming home again. But the truth is, Indianapolis isn't really home for me."(pg. 185, Jackie Macmullan) this quote shows the direct tone that he had and what he was thinking. A particular moment in my novel when Larry Bird swayed my mind when he was talking about how bad it is to be famous because everyones always falling you around it changed my mind about being famous because I dont want everyoe following me around everywhere I go. Larry Birds tone was very persuasive so it swayed my mind even more because it was persuasive.

The general setting of Larry Bird watching is in the basketball arena. Wether its in the locker room or on the court. Of course its not the only setting. He talks about his 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, Spain, which was cool because he talked about the Dream Team and how they all competed against other countries. Another setting was in Indiana at his college. Or even at home in Indiana. There are various settings in this novel which I like. The following picture shows Larry Bird and Magic Johnson in Barcelona.
